Summary

Coupon Tracker for Constant Contact™ teaches you how to add a barcode to the coupon in an email and lets you track the usage of that coupon. It also allows you to quickly add a new contact to your Constant Contact account.

Enter a coupon name and the application will email you instructions about how to create a Constant Contact email with a unique barcode. Follow the instructions you receive and each of your contacts will get a coupon with a custom barcode (which includes the coupon name and their email address built-in). You can also add a barcode to an auto-responder so new customers on your list get a special "bonus" coupon.

When a contact brings the coupon to your store, the Coupon Scanner will read the barcode and add that email to a list. You can track the contacts that use your coupon and even send them a unique email or special bonus coupon. If a contact attempts to use a coupon twice, the application will let you know.

Installation

You can install version 1.0 of the application by clicking CouponTracker.apk or scanning the QR code. Until we are listed in the Android marketplace, be sure to go into Settings->Applications and check the box for Unknown Sources.

How does the application track the bar codes?: By creating a Contact List and adding the email addresses to that list as they are scanned.
Does the bar code have to be placed in a coupon?: Definitely not! Place the bar code anywhere in the email or any other document that your customers will bring into your store.

Detailed Description

	Login Log into the application using your Constant Contact User Name and password. You can create a free trial account at https://www.constantcontact.com/features/signup.jsp.
	Main Window From the main window, you can select one of 4 icons. Scan Coupon, List Coupons, Create Coupon, or Add New Contact. Using the menu, you can also Logout.
	Create Coupon The create coupon page allows you to enter an email address and coupon name. The email address is where you want the application to send the instructions about how to use a barcode in a Constant Contact email. The coupon name is how you will track this particular coupon. The application will create a Contact List with the name of the coupon. When you scan the coupon from a contact, they will automatically be added to that Contact List. This will allow you to see who has used the coupon and email everyone that uses it.
	Scan Coupon Clicking the scan coupon icon will launch the bar code scanner. Point the phone's camera at the bar code on a contact's coupon and the application will read it. The application will then add the contact to the list of people who have used that coupon. It will also prompt you with the contact's details so you can greet them in a friendly manner. From this window, you can see if a contact already used the coupon and you can update the contacts details.
	List Coupons Clicking the list coupons icon will show you all of the lists that the application has created in your Constant Contact account along with the number of contacts in that list.
	Add New Contact Clicking the add new contact icon will allow you quickly and easily to add a new contact to your Constant Contact account. You can enter an email address, first name, last name, phone number, and select in which lists they belong.
