Darryl M made this awesome party and cake for her son Dawson's party. Each child was given a crown of wonder when they came to the party and earned chances to go gem mining. Once they filled their crown they would recieve $500 kinz cash. All the games where adapted from Webkinz world.

Kariya celebrated her 8th birthday party with her friends. The theme of the party was Webkinz™. The kids earned kinz cash as they enjoyed balloon darts, gem hunt, game of the day, wheel of wow and shopping at the W-shop to fill their treat bags. Stacy was also kind enough to send in the recipe for the treasure rocks seen in the picture. These are pretend rocks you can make that kids can easily break apart to find the treasures!!

I would like to share the recipe for the treasure rocks with you for your site. Others may enjoy incorporating them into a party much as we did. Ingredients: 1 cup used coffee grinds 1 cup flour 1/2 cup salt 1/4 cup sand 1/4 - 3/4 cups of water (depending on how moist your coffee grinds are) Small treasures to put inside your treasure rock. We used different colored marbles to represent the rocks at the gem hunt. However, you could use small toys, real rocks, or fake jewelry. The possibilities are endless. Steps: In a bowl mix together coffee grinds, flour, salt and sand. Slowly add water to the dry mixture until it is wet enough to be rolled in a ball. Shape mixture into a ball, then press your thumb into the center to make a hole. Put your treasure inside the hole, then spread the dough over the whole and roll out the ball to hide the hole. Let your Treasure Balls air dry for 2-3 days. Be sure to turn them so they dry evenly. After dried throughly, the rocks are easy for kids to break open with their hands.
